Overview
Brachioplasty in West Palm Beach
Brachioplasty (arm lift) removes excess skin and fat from the upper arm — the sagging tissue often called 'bat wings' — to create a smoother, more toned contour. The result is arms you will want to show off again.
Weight loss, aging, and genetics cause the upper arm skin to lose elasticity and sag. No amount of exercise restores the skin once it has stretched. Brachioplasty excises the excess and tightens the remaining tissue for a dramatically improved upper arm shape. Liposuction may be incorporated for additional contouring.
Schedule Your Consultation →Am I a Candidate?
Adults at or near a stable weight who are bothered by loose, sagging upper arm skin. Non-smokers and those in good overall health are ideal candidates.
The Procedure
Performed under general anesthesia in one to three hours. An incision is placed on the inner or back surface of the upper arm — designed to be hidden when the arms are at the sides.
Recovery & Results
One to two weeks off work is typical. Compression garments reduce swelling. Strenuous arm activity is restricted for four to six weeks.
